awesome diy area rug: FAIL

Not all of my ideas turn out like I'd like them to. It's especially disappointing when I'm really excited about what I'm making, and when I've taken the time to take pictures for a tutorial and then the whole thing just FALLS APART.
I might have screamed at one point.

But I can now write about it because this happened two weeks ago. I tore everything apart, stared at the material for a couple weeks, did a little more research, and finally worked up the courage to try again tonight.

I'll share the finished project later this week. But tonight, you might as well enjoy the FAIL.

In theory duct tape can be used for all project...in theory.

AAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaa!!!!!!!

That's all I have to say about this.

    1. Thanks. lol. Yeah. I started at the beginning of the year. I kind of wanted to 'practice' and figure some things out. My March resolution is to focus more on the blog: to start participating in the community, figure out A LOT that I don't know, and crank out some projects. We'll see how it goes!

    2. So it is unclear where you went wrong. Are you saying to use duct tape, or NOT to use it?? Why was it a fail, and how did you fix the problem. Frustrated reader.
